Toronto has many nicknames. And frankly, I am in love with my city. Yes, it’s cold, but summers are absolutely gorgeous. Like most Torontonians, Joel and I spend most of our time outdoors either at the beach, or on a patio, or a rooftop or at a park.
On one such summer day, I visited the Music Gardens at the west end of Harbourfront in Toronto. I honestly love the big yachts and boats parked along the edge or at the docks. It creates such a picturesque view especially when people are setting sail. So off we went to have a picnic and take some pictures. It was a hot day and my hair wasn’t cooperating but we made the most of the beautiful light. We walked around for quite a bit after which we biked all the way to the Humber Bridge along the Martin Goodman Trail. We were quite beat at the end of it and stopped for some sushi! All in all, a day well-spent.
